I have always loved taking sketchbooks with me when I travel. For me, it’s like bringing a bit of that place and moment back home with me. I got the incredible opportunity to travel to New York in October 2019. I went to the NYCC, met my friend Derek Kunsken (writer of the webcomic Briarworld), became a fan of doughnuts, and walked my shoes until the sole became smooth.
